Once
one has gained a basic awareness of how 'reality' is
created, and has come to the pivotal realization that
we are
co-creators
with Source Energy (God) of that reality, then comes
the task of directing and
controlling our consciousness so that it stays
focused on the things and the direction that we want
it and thus creates the kind of life and experiences
we wish to have.
That
is the subject of this essay.
At
first, this can be a frustrating task, as the nature
of the human mind is 'conditioned' to react to and
draw conclusions from outside stimuli. In other words,
we are strongly programmed from infancy to look at
objective reality (everything 'out there') as hard
and inflexible truth: (the cause or reason why things
are the way they are in our lives) and to view ourselves
as relatively powerless to change anything 'out there'.
But this is the basic falsehood that we must
both recognize and rise above if we are to be deliberate
creators of our reality.
The
truth is: it's the other way around.
We know from the highest knowledge of both science
and spirituality that all matter arises out of consciousness...
the very consciousness that sees through your eyes
and thinks your thoughts. And that consciousness
actually creates particles out of a waveform of all
possibilities. (see 'Beyond

So,
assuming we have some understanding of this, how do
we best tap into that flow of well-being? How do we
cease resistance (negative vibration)? How
do we deliberately create what we want and
keep our lives enjoying a positive, joyful and happy
existence?
In
a word: Appreciation.
This
truly is a magically powerful tool to use
in your life in every arena. Lets examine why this
is so.
We
live in a universe that is entirely comprised of energetic
vibrations, from low and slow to high and fast. The
higher and faster the vibrations, the more power they
have, and the more quickly things manifest. The
vibration of appreciation is among the highest of vibrational
states a human can achieve. In fact, it is
so powerful that once you've 'locked into' something
to appreciate, it quickly transmutes whatever other
negative creations may have been in progress right
in that moment.
Appreciation
is POWERFUL. It is way more powerful than
anger, depression, apathy, victim-mentality, or any
other negative emotion on the Hawkins scale
of consciousness. So, entering into a few moments
of appreciation is like pouring water on a raging
fire that torments our mind and soul, snuffing out
negativity. It stops the debilitating influence of
the lower vibrations dead in their tracks. Not only
that, it transmutes the negative, and immediately
begins the healing and positive flow of creation.
Put
into daily practice, this appreciation thing has enormous
impact on our practical, day to day lives.
For as you make a habit of appreciating things, you
begin to attract more of what you appreciate. This
is one of the foundational laws of the Universe.
Fortunately, it
is one of the easiest states to achieve and
can be accomplished in only a few seconds. We all
can think of something we can appreciate, right?
Even if things are predominantly negative in our
lives and it 'looks' like things are all falling
apart, we can always appreciate the fact that we
can breathe! (Don't laugh! I actually do this, as
I have had a long history with asthma!)
With
practice this will become automatic. I suggest
this: Take a few moments every day, either at the
beginning or the end of each day (preferably both),
and make mental note of the various things in your
life that you appreciate. Be real and authentic in
your feelings of appreciation.
For
example, you may have just paid the rent or mortgage
payment and still have a little change left over. Well, appreciate
that! That means you are allowing the energy
of money to flow through you and as you do so, more
will flow into a wider river of abundance! You may
have just been divorced or you may even be in the middle
of an ugly and abusive relationship. Is there something
to appreciate there? Sure. Your can appreciate the
fact that you always have the option of making another
choice and not having an abusive person in your life. Appreciate
that! We live in a framework that provides
multiple choices to us. That is a tremendous blessing.
Appreciate it. You may be in relatively good health!
There are many people in the world that have serious
health problems. Appreciate that!
My
point is, you can never run out of things to
appreciate once you start noticing them, because your
brain connections start to change and you
start looking for those things that feel good to you.
Start making a list and expand on it every day. Make
it a habit. And when you do this, take a few
moments extra to really FEEL the emotion of
appreciating whatever it is.
You
see, its really about retraining your mind.
That is the real work that appreciation does. It
reformats your brain, to direct it's reality
creating thoughts into positive ones that mirror
the things that bring us happiness.
Know
this: Each moment spent in authentic appreciation
is counteracting hours or days spent dwelling in negativity,
frustration and hopelessness. Once you've
appreciated enough to 'tip the scales', you will notice
that life starts flowing more harmoniously. Keep it
up! You are on the right track and there is much to
be joyous about because your life is in the process
of being transformed into one where all your dreams
can come true.
Appreciate
every day!
Although
I am not always 'consciously' aware of it, I know I
am in the process of creating my life deliberately
every moment of every day and I use appreciation as
a central tool to keep me on that path. My attitude
is one of being engaged in a really fun game.
What's more, I have been blessed with great 'inside
knowledge' as to how to play it well! The wonderful
thing is, this inside knowledge is so simple, a child
can grasp it! And, of course, its freely available
to anyone and everyone.
The
true richest blessings of life are non-exclusive
and non-discriminating.
Example:
Right now, I have immense appreciation for the fact
that I can work at home and don't have to go out to
a job and deal with all the stress of freeways, competitive
people, office gossip and the like. On the other side
of the coin, I could dwell in a state of fear, not
knowing from one month or week to the next where my
income will come from. I could worry and put alot of
energy into wondering how I'm going to pay my bills,
etc. (like I used to do by habit!), but I now
CHOOSE not to do that. Whenever I feel old
anxieties come up, I use this technique and it works
every time! I find something... ANYTHING... to appreciate,
and that changes the energy, my vibrational output,
instantaneously!
Instead,
I really appreciate that I have the freedom and a skill
that I can offer to those who need it, and spend time
in my own happy environment doing it. I'm so appreciative
of that, and as I stay in appreciation, I notice that
my situation continues to improve and new opportunities
flow into my life that are positive and support my
well-being. What's more, when I deliberately
choose be appreciate various things, it actually just
cancels out any fear based vibrations. That
is because of the high vibrational state of appreciation
is much, much more powerful than fear.
Do
this: Close your eyes right now and find
something to appreciate for a minute or so. Really
ponder it and let it grow larger in your mind. Examine
the various aspects of it. What would your life be without this
wonderful thing you appreciate so much? Isn't it
great that this wonderful __________ (thing/person/experience/
situation) is in your life? Yes, indeed it is. Really,
truly appreciate it. Value it. Be thankful for it.
How
do you feel right now?
I
bet your feel just great! (if you really moved your
consciousness into the appreciation). Your
feelings right now are your barometer of how you are
vibrating and what you are sending out into the sea
of all possibilities.
Remember
this fact, as it is so important to understand: Universe/Source
Energy/God can only say YES to whatever we are offering
vibrationally. It just gives us whatever we
are expecting/believing/and in vibrational harmony
to. When we project fear and other negative vibrations, Source
has no choice but to deliver to us, through the experiences
of our lives, people, events and situations that mirror
that vibration.
"You
want discouragement, fear and poverty? YES! Here
it is! Here's more people, events and situations
that will continue to make you feel discouraged,
fearful and in lack!"
You
see, it ALWAYS gives us exactly what we ask for.
ALWAYS.
Likewise, when
you are in the state of appreciation, Source energy
has no choice but to flood your life with the stream
of well-being, because that
is the match for your vibration of
appreciation.
"Oh,
what's that? You want love, joy, peace, harmonious
relationships, health and abundance? YES! Here
it is!"
Source
Energy is never negative. It
just says YES.
It is a non-judgemental, non-discriminating power
source, empowering our consciousness into
the reality we experience as life. This is what it
does. And it holds no value judgments about what
we are putting forth, it just empowers whatever it
is.
It's
really that simple. We get what we think
about, whether we want it or not. Our egos love complexity,
but truth is always very simple and
it is not difficult or complicated to integrate into
your life.
Lets
now distill this all down into these four simple steps:
1)
INTEND TO BEGIN APPRECIATION FOR ALL THE THINGS
YOU LOVE IN YOUR LIFE – Stop
the negative patterns of consciousness that play
like broken records in your life by CHOOSING
things to appreciate. Remember that those
things, people, situations, emotions that you love,
you will get MORE OF when you appreciate them!
When you do this, you align yourself with divine
energy, positive energy, and you are in the flow.
2)
BE PERSISTANT – by
doing this routinely... every day. The more you make
a habit of it, the easier it will be,
the higher your own being will vibrate and the
quicker all the things you desire will be magnetized
to you and manifest in your life. When you catch
yourself going back to old habits of thinking about
what's wrong with your life and your world, STOP RIGHT
THERE, and lock on to something to appreciate!
3)
ALLOW LIFE TO FLOW and BE WHAT IT IS. Remember,
you do not know the end from the beginning, But
that's not your job either. So, there's nothing
for you to try to manipulate into being. That
is the job of the superior intelligence of Source
Being and it can do it way more effectively
than you ever will. So if things are not looking
on the surface like what you want them to look
like, don't fret. Just know that Source is in control
and may be reshuffling the deck in order to birth
the new creation you are intending. Let it happen
and give no thought to the contrary, not matter
what outside circumstances may look like.
4)
NOW APPRECIATE the manifestation! You
can be sure you are going to see well-being flow
into your life if you follow this simple exercise!
For these things that we talked about here are immutable
laws that Source energy is very consistent
about. Keep on appreciating –this
will keep the positive cycle going and repel the
vibrations of negativity.
If
you are clear in your intentions and desires and hold
to a vibration that firmly rooted in appreciation, you
can be sure that the intelligence that creates worlds
is fully in charge of manifesting your desires and
is busy doing so 'behind the scenes' right in this
moment!
I
can think of nothing more exciting to contemplate.
