I am so thankful to rediscover this amazing artist, allbeit 20 plus years after his fifteen minutes of fame. It’s just as well, the aged Boz is so much more musical and powerful in his delivery now than he was in his commercial heyday. The music on this set is actually part of a DVD concert filmed in San Francisco that is one of the very best live performances I’ve seen by anyone.

Boz has matured as a masterful singer and performer. That is obvious once viewing the DVD, but it is the quality of the songwriting that really shines through all these tunes. They are simply beautiful and here they are performed live with great precision and heart.

My person favorites here include the tender ‘We’re All Alone’, ‘Lost It’, the nostalgic ‘Harbour Lights’, and the classics ‘Look At What You’ve Done To Me’ and ‘Heart Of Mine’. These are amazing, soulful songs, and clearly reveal a masterful songwriter here.

Try to get a hold of the DVD if possible, it’s well worth it. But at the least, these tunes need to be heard and re-experienced anew.
